I’m a father, part time photographer, amateur husband, hobbyist writer, and general nuisance. I write because I like to, and because I’ve convinced myself that I might be halfway decent if I put enough work into it. Actually, that’s why I do most of the things on that list.
I grew up in Southern California, reading books and playing with computers. Since I started working, I’ve been trying to get back to a point in life where I can, again, spend the majority of my time doing those two things. It’s looking less and less promising. I’m a fan of originality, good sci fi, and bad action movies.
Authors that I’ve been enjoying this year include: Neil Gaiman, Orson Scott Card, Lawrence Block, William Gibson…there are several others.
